- I am an artist in Los Angeles who struggles daily with the love/hate relationship I have with my native city. In spite of numerous attempts at escape over the years, some unseen force has always drawn me back until at last I have found myself in the vortex. Hollywood is a fascinating and bizarre place; its magic is real, but can sometimes be difficult to find under the layers of grime and the terrible, ubiquitous billboards.
